About Us

iDirect is a care provider supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions to live fulfilling, independent lives in their own homes. Our core mission is to enable individuals to live a life they have reason to value, promoting choice, dignity and meaningful community participation.

Established in 2014 in response to concerns about institutional care, iDirect focuses on person-centred support that helps people move out of long-stay hospital or residential settings into community living. The organisation operates primarily across West and East Dorset, Wiltshire, and Hampshire, and is aligned with the Citizen Network ethos, which emphasises equality, citizenship and community inclusion for everyone they support.

Packages of care are tailored to individual needs using bespoke support planning, with regular review and feedback to ensure quality and responsiveness. iDirect works with a small number of individuals to maintain high-quality support, and recruits staff who can form meaningful relationships with those they support.
