Tegfield House, located in Winchester, is an impressive home providing personalised residential, dementia, respite and day care, in a setting filled with character, warmth and understanding. Elegant and comfortable, the homely accommodation has been thoughtfully redesigned, incorporating many original features to provide a safe, appealing and comfortable environment for its residents. Our residents benefit from outstanding care delivered by our fully trained, compassionate and caring team. Tegfield House is a very social and friendly environment and our full schedule of activities provides residents with the opportunity to enjoy arts & crafts, exercise classes, musical activities, cooking, days out and gardening. In addition, we enjoy visits from professional singers, variety acts and even some animal encounters.
Tegfield has just finished a 5million pound extension and refurbishment that has provided 15 extra bedrooms, 2 conservatories, lounge and extra dining area. We also have an enclosed sensory courtyard and landscaped gardens. You can enjoy Tegfield House's garden or spend time in the lounges, conservatories or dining rooms. There is lifts and ground floor rooms in addition to wifi throughout the home.
Tegfield House offers en-suite rooms and residents can feel even more at home here if they want to use their own furniture. Pets are welcome throughout the home and in rooms. visitors can enjoy a meal with their loved one.
Tegfield House has nearby key medical facilities including a hospital, a GP and a Pharmacy. It has good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket, bank, cinema and pub can also be found in the area.
