About Us
Situated within the tranquil surroundings of Ash Hill in Compton, Engelberg Care Home provides a warm and familiar environment. With 34 bedrooms, each room is equipped with a 24/7 call button for added peace of mind, and lift access is available to the first floor.
Engelberg is distinguished by its warm, friendly, and homely atmosphere. We foster a close-knit community grounded in a sense of place, friendship, and belonging. We honour residents' values and provide unwavering professional care of the highest standards. In addition to residential and dementia care, we also offer pre-bookable respite care.
Residents can look forward to regular outings and events, as well as a vibrant activity calendar. This includes exercise classes, arts and crafts, music sessions, and more. We are privileged to have our own Chaplain at our home who provides our residents with regular church services and companionship. The beautiful gardens provide opportunities for relaxation or hands-on engagement, while on-site amenities such as a hair salon and reflexology further contribute to residents' comfort and well-being.
