The home can accommodate 17 residents all with single rooms but has the capacity to accept couples into the larger rooms that can be shared if required. Care is provided for those with dementia, and other health conditions. Heatherlea House is a Residential Care Home and offers a wide range of support including day care, short stay services, respite care, long-term care, palliative care, etc. Heatherlea House is a small care home offering a friendly, homely environment, excellent options of food, 24-hour care 7 days a week, full laundry service, both group and individual activities, a small friendly care focussed staff team that treat residents as individuals and offer choice, and care for individuals in a person centred way. All aspects of care are completed to an excellent standard. The home ensures that the resident is aware that their room is their home, and they may decorate it to their taste, bring their own furniture with them and personal effects. All visitors are welcomed into the home, offered refreshments and the Manager and staff are available to visitors should they wish to discuss anything during their visit. The home has activities that the families of the residents can attend such as singing concerts, parties, fayre’s and celebrations
