About Us
We are a CQC-registered independent, community-based provider of exceptional care at home across Teesside and North Yorkshire
As a grandson lucky enough to still have two grandparents, both in their 90s (married for 73 years!) and fiercely independent, Ian understands that for many people moving out of their home is not their preferred option.
He also understands that it can be difficult to find consistent, high quality, personalised alternatives. This is the driving force behind Lago Homecare, that is to build a homecare provider that delivers all the things people expect and deserve to receive.
Our values
Open – We commit to transparency with everybody involved in receiving and providing care = sharing information, raising concerns, gathering feedback
Fair – We commit to offering our service at a price that allows us to pay our staff a fair wage that reflects the value of their work = we all know the bad press care gets for the pay, and this impact the service quality
Integrity – We commit to providing a consistent and principled service, in which our individual and collective conduct aligns with what we know to be excellent = honesty, trust, openness between us as a staff team and us and our service users
Aspirational – We commit to supporting the aspirations of our staff to build careers in care alongside Lago’s growth = investing in our team so they grow and stay
