Overview

As specialists in providing residential care, Beechwood provides a tailored, luxury experience to those needing care and support, but who also want to retain their independence and enjoy activities and the social aspects of life.

As a smaller, boutique home, staff have time to tend to the little things and get to know each resident as an individual. Their residential care specialism means residents are slightly more able and active than in nursing homes, providing a sense of community and enjoyment to all residents that wish to partake. At the same time, Beechwood aims to be a 'forever home' for residents, providing support to those who have joined and whose needs have increased over time.

Set in large, pleasant gardens, all rooms are ground level, en-suites that provides independence and high quality care to all residents.

Two sitting rooms and two conservatories allow residents to enjoy either a quiet period of reflection, to chat with their friends in the home, meet visitors or to participate in the wide range of activities on offer.

Staff treat residents as they would want their own mother or father to be treated. Socialising is especially important and residents are encouraged to join in on the daily activities, eat well, sleep well and make new friends. The home is very focused on helping its residents to recapture that sparkle for life. The staff too have been with the home for quite a while and take pride in not just being a care home but an extended family for all residents.

Longer-term residential care and also day-care are available. In day-care, individuals may choose to join the home during the day but go back to their own home during the night. Shorter visits are also available (for example coming for a couple of hours to join for a cup of tea and a bath) and joining in activities with the home's friendly little family.
