WELCOME TO CINDY CARE:
We know that choosing care is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Our promise is simple: to provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care that respects your independence and dignity while giving you and your loved one's peace of mind.

At Cindy Care, we speak the ‘Language of Care’: This means listening carefully, responding thoughtfully, and treating every person with compassion and respect.

We are proud to walk alongside you and your family through the dedication of our carers and the support of the wider Cindy Care team, as trusted partners in your journey.

OUR STORY:
Cindy Care was founded with one guiding belief: that people deserve to remain in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by their routines, families, and communities.

Our philosophy is rooted in respect, trust, and empathy. By combining professional expertise with a deeply human approach, we ensure every person receives care that is as unique as they are.

QUICK REFERENCE SUMMARY:
• Who we are: CQC-registered home care provider.
• What we do: Live-In Care (24/7 support) and Domiciliary (Visiting) Care (hourly visits).
• How we work: Care is tailored after a full assessment and reviewed regularly.
• Your rights: dignity, privacy, independence, equality, and choice.
• Safety: safeguarding protocols, infection control, emergency plans.
• Complaints: handled fairly within 28 days, with independent escalation routes.
• Contacts: CQC, Local Authority, Ombudsman, advocacy services, and Cindy Care’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Continuity: carers are trained, supervised, and supported, with cover always arranged if your carer is unwell or away.

WHO WE ARE:
Cindy Care is a regulated provider of Live-In and Domiciliary Care. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and operate with the highest standards of safety, governance, and compassion.

OUR PHILOSOPHY & VALUES:
We believe every person deserves to be supported with dignity, respect, and choice. Our values are:
• Respect for individuality
• Promoting independence
• Safety and trust
• Warmth and empathy
• Continuous learning and improvement

SERVICES WE PROVIDE:
We provide both Live-In Care and Domiciliary (Visiting) Care, tailored to your needs. Services include:
• Personal care
• Medication support
• Nutrition and hydration
• Mobility and transfers
• Condition-specific support
• Companionship and social activities
• Household tasks

Live-In Care:
Live-In Care provides round-the-clock support with a professional carer living in your home. This gives you continuity, companionship, and peace of mind while staying in familiar surroundings.

Domiciliary (Visiting) Care:
Visiting care is flexible and arranged in hourly blocks. Carers support you with key daily routines, meals, medication, or companionship, at times that suit you.

CONDITIONS WE SUPPORT:
Our carers are trained to support a wide range of health needs, including dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery, mobility limitations, arthritis, and cancer care. Support is tailored to your needs and overseen by our care management team.

CARE PLANNING & REVIEWS:
Every client has a personalized care plan, developed with you and your family. Plans are reviewed every three months or sooner if your needs change.

Personal Care:
We support with bathing, dressing, continence care, skincare, and oral hygiene, always respecting your dignity and privacy. You are encouraged to remain independent wherever possible.

Medication Support:
Carers administer medicines safely from pharmacy-prepared packs. We use Medication Administration Record (MAR) charts to ensure doses are not missed. Any concerns are reported immediately to the Care Manager and GP if required.

Nutrition & Hydration:
Meals are planned around your preferences and dietary needs. Carers encourage regular hydration and support special diets where needed. Afternoon snacks, tea, and hydration prompts are built into daily routines.

Skin Integrity & Pressure Care:
Carers check skin daily, apply prescribed creams, and use equipment such as pressure-relieving mattresses when required. Concerns are escalated quickly to healthcare professionals.

Mobility & Moving Safely:
We support safe movement using equipment such as walkers, bath lifts, or wheelchairs. Carers are fully trained in moving & handling techniques.

Falls Prevention & Response:
We reduce fall risks by keeping pathways clear, using night lamps, and encouraging safe equipment use. If a fall occurs, carers follow our falls protocol—reassurance, no manual lifting, call 999 if needed, inform family and Care Manager, and your nominated family contact.

Funding & Fees: Are very affordable.
