OUR NURSE-LED APPROACH
FEGO Care Solutions was founded by experienced healthcare professionals who understand that high-quality care requires more than completing a list of tasks.
Our nurse-led approach brings professional knowledge, compassion and a holistic understanding of people's physical, mental and emotional wellbeing into the care we provide.
Our leadership team includes Friday Nosa Ebomwonyi and Grace Osagie, both NMC-registered Mental Health Nurses with postgraduate nursing qualifications and experience within NHS mental health services.
This professional background helps us recognise that people's needs are often interconnected. Physical health, mental wellbeing, medication, nutrition, mobility, relationships, confidence and social connection can all influence a person's ability to live well at home.
We therefore look beyond individual tasks and consider the person as a whole.
Our aim is not simply to provide care for someone, but to provide the appropriate support that enables them to retain and develop their independence wherever possible.
PERSON-CENTRED CARE
Person-centred care means that you are at the centre of decisions about your support.
We take time to understand your preferences and routines rather than expecting you to fit into a standard care model.
For example, we may support you with personal care while ensuring that you continue to make choices about how and when that care is provided. We may help with meals while encouraging you to remain involved in preparing or choosing what you eat. We may support you to attend appointments or go into the community while helping you maintain as much independence as possible.
Small things matter.
The way you like your tea or coffee. The clothes you prefer to wear. Your usual morning routine. How you like your home arranged. The music you enjoy. The people you want involved in your care. The activities that matter to you.
